Graphic Designer

We're looking for a graphic designer to join our team. If you love books, working on team projects, researching and organizing material, and finding creative approaches to project challenges, we want to hear from you. 

An outstanding Graphic Designer will:

  • Collaborate with editors, photographers, puzzle makers, and crafters to develop books and collateral materials
  • Manage creative and production work within set schedules
  • Be a creative team member, pitching ideas and incorporating team recommendations 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an art school or college grad with a BS or BA in graphic design
  • Be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign using MacOS, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Be comfortable working in our fast-paced but friendly environment
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter who works well independently but also loves collaboration and working as a team
  • Be organized and able to multitask!

Experience with making comps and book mock-ups is a big plus.

Editor 

We're looking for talented wordsmiths to join our crew! If you love books, working on team projects, researching and organizing material, and finding creative approaches to project challenges, we want to hear from you. 

An outstanding Editor will:

  • Collaborate with designers, illustrators, writers, puzzle makers, and crafters to develop books and collateral materials
  • Balance creative and production work within set schedules
  • Work with online asset management tools
  • Write marketing copy and web content
  • Write and adapt children's books
  • Conduct online research regarding a variety of subjects
  • Create art direction for illustrators  

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a degree in journalism, communications, English, or a comparable discipline
  • Be comfortable working in our fast-paced but friendly environment
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter who works well independently but also loves collaboration and working as a team
  • Be organized and able to multitask!

Social Media Influencers

Are you a blogger or Instagram influencer who reviews children's books and apps for ages 5 and under? We're looking for parents, educators, and tech reviewers who have an active blog and/or social media presence to partner with us on campaigns, giveaways, and reviews.

An ideal partner will:

  • Have an active leading social media presence, posting multiple times a week
  • Have an engaged audience of parents and educators with expressed interested in children's books and digital products
  • Have experience developing programs and campaigns with brands, from co-content creation to offline events
